In 20 months they have already been to England, Wales, Scotland, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, and Belgium. That’s an impressive list! 2017 they plan on more of the same, using La Manga, Spain as a hub. If your adventures bring you to La Manga reach out to Jenny, their always looking for a meet up. Now without further ado, 8 questions with Jenny Tomlin.

How long have you been traveling?

We have been traveling full time for 20 months.

What does the term Worldschooling mean to you?

Worldschooling means to us showing our daughter how there are so many opportunities within our world. Opening her eyes through the traveling to the many possibilities of work, fun, enjoyment, adventure and the different ways they happen in different countries whilst studying the basic subjects within a real world atmosphere.

What made you take the leap and begin Worldschooling?

We home schooled in the U.K. for a year before we decided to sell everything buy a Motor-home and travel around Europe full time. We loved the home schooling but was restricted to the UK, expensive to live and unfriendly for Motor-homers.

What is one tip you would give an aspiring Worldschooler?

The biggest tip we give to those considering this way of life is to just take the plunge be brave and do it. We live on a very tight budget but we are completely free and that feeling alone is priceless.

What do you think the future of Worldschooling looks like?

The future of worldschooling is very promising as it grows in numbers. I would love to see many meets taking places within different countries with all children having the opportunity to take part in localized activities. Experience different ways of life via another child’s eyes.

What would you tell your pre-Worldschool self?

That anything is possible if you truly allow it to be. And the old saying life is short is true. Don’t put off doing or going anywhere when you can.

What words do you live by?

We don’t really live by any words as such. Being free of ‘regular’ life is at times speechless. A dream if you like.

Where can people find you?

We travel around Europe staying 11 months on the mainland and 1 month in the U.K. We are always available to be of help to anyone who needs or wishes to meet up. Our daughter loves both adults and all aged children. You can also find Jenny and her family on their brand new  blog
