This week’s Worldschooler of the Week is, Crazy Family Adventure. Bryanna, Craig and family are Full Timers, meaning they live full time in an RV. They travel the US with their 4 kids and two dogs and are currently at Valley of Fire State Park in Neveda, but you can find them here on Worldschooler Connect and through their social media sites listed below. Their travel blog, Crazy Family Adventure, is a plethora of information about travel, RVing, unschooling and simplifying your life. You’ll find useful information, whether you’re a newbie or  a seasoned veteran. Without further ado, Crazy Family Adventure.

  1. What does the term worldschooling mean to you?

To us worldschooling means learning about life through seeing the world. The reading, writing, and math will happen but what you can’t learn from a text book is truly how amazing our world is. Worldschooling gives our kids the ability to really see, touch, feel and smell a location. Those are things you don’t easily forget. It also shows our kids that the world is filled with amazing, diverse, and different people and that is a very good thing.

  1. What kind of schooling do you do?

We Unschool our kids with a focus on Radical Unschooling. What that means is we have no curriculum and no tests but instead have a lifestyle that is all about learning and exploring together as a family. It also takes the pressure off of our kids and gives them room to learn at their own pace and to focus on things that they are passionate about.

  1. What is your most memorable travel moment?

There is no way I can narrow it down to one! Instead I will say it is a collection of each and every day. From the lazy days where we snuggle in bed for hours to the challenging days where we hike to the summit of a mountain at 10,000 feet to the times we experience new things together as a family. It is all memorable and is all making our family bond deeper and we love all aspects of it!

  1. What is one travel hack you would pass on to fellow travelers?

Always bring your own food with. We have enjoyed lunch in parking lots so we didn’t have to drag our kids to a restaurant and spend tons of money. And guess what everyone enjoyed it much better then having to sit still at a table and eat properly. Plus it is an amazing way to save money so you can use the money on experiences vs a restaurant bill.

  1. Do you currently travel from a home-base?

Our home base is on wheels! We live in an RV full time.

  1. How long do you typically stay in one place?

It varies from a few nights to a month. But normally we don’t stay more then a month at one location.

  1. What words do you live by?

Don’t live with regrets and Family is #1.

  1. Where can people find you? Website, social media, podcasts, etc.
